Techs are responsible for the cleanliness of the facility in which they work by performing various cleaning duties. Duties and hours may vary depending on the size of the facility and the services that are contracted.

The Technician Essential job Functions

Note: This is not an all inclusive list, additional duties may be assigned.

• Restrooms

  Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors. Replenishes bathroom supplies as needed. Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.

• Floors

  Sweeps, mops, & vacuums floors using appropriate cleaning device.

• Eating Areas

  Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs Replenishes break room supplies as needed.

• Dust

  Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, picture frames, etc.

• Trash

  Empties wastebaskets and transports to appropriate disposal area.

Other Duties: Wash walls and woodwork, window cleaning, door panels, partitions, sills, baseboards

EXPECTATIONS

Report to work each day and on time and in dress code Employee must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required Provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers The employee must be able to determine the thoroughness of the work assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: walk and stand, climb, bend forward, kneel down, crawl, wear a hip/backpack vacuum, reach and grasp, push and pull objects, lift and or move up to 25 lbs sometimes over shoulder,
